Orientation Meetings / Gatherings

Farmer gathering/orientation meeting was another important activity for learning from each others in OVOF approach. Facilitators introduced project objectives in these gatherings. In these gatherings, project coordinator, donor organization expert also facilitate these gatherings and share their experiences with farmers. Main purpose of these gatherings was to share the knowledge and experimental results of demonstration plots on various farmers fields. In these gatherings, Field and Expert Facilitators shared their field visits with farmers and asked the farmers about the field problems. Self sustainability and relying on own resources was the major out put of these farmer gatherings.
